Photo uploading to UHH much slower than a month ago

It seems to me that something has changed with the UHH software when uploading images to the site. The processing software for images uploaded seems to take a much longer time to process than it did a few months ago. I first wrote this off as UHH was very busy, but it seems inconstantly slow.
Anyone else experience this?

No. It must be something you are doing like uploading too large a file or it could be your upload speed has changed by your internet service provider. Make sure your images aren't too large. I usually make the long side no larger than 1600 pixels but smaller images upload faster.

No that is not the problem. The upload takes about the same time it always has, it is the UHH processor that is taking much longer to create the thumb and return me to the page.

UHH in general is running much more slowly for me than it used to. To the point where it's not much fun to use anymore. I'm going to check with my internet service provider, but if they can't help it must be that something has changed with UHH. I get little messages at the bottom of the screen "waiting" for this or that, and it is usually something to do with google or ads.

You can eliminate 99% of those bothersome ad items by installing Adblock Pro -- it's free and available for either Google Chrome or Internet Explorer -- just do a Google search for Adblock Pro

I have tried several images several times. I didn't know that it was slow - I thought it was not working. Wasn't worth the time involved so I gave up.
