I suppose that I should introduce myself. I've been lurking on the board for a month or so. 63 yo male in Watertown, CT. Amateur (and that's an understatement.)
I've always enjoyed photography. Grew up with an Instamatic. My Father gave me his 1940s half-frame 35mm camera (Mercury?) when I was about 16 and I enjoyed the heck out of it. When I was in the service i bought a Yashika Electro35 and shot lots of slides. Got married and moved to point and shoot. About ten years ago I got into video cameras but lately I found my way back into photography.
I took the plunge and bought a Sony NEX 7 and wish I had more time to shoot. Maybe when I retire!
