Sher - UHH does have a separate section for this -
go to 'list all sections' - there you will find
'True Macro-Photography' section

There is great information and should answer many of your
questions.

Sorry should have done - 'Quote reply'

I recently returned from a week-long trip, to find a burst seedpod on one of my milkweed plants. Here is a close-up photo of the pod, and a macro-photograph of a single seed with dispersion parachute. I love 24Mp! Download & enlarge to appreciate resolution.

Both images: Nikon D5200 at ISO 200, Nikkor 105G macro lens, SB-600 speedlight with FotoDiox 4x6 softbox diffuser, 1/200-sec at f/16.

Good start Agnes...I LOVE my macro!! Its so fun to play with it...This should be a fun challenge!

I decided to pick marco and close ups as just got a marco lens and need to learn how to use it. I thought that the challenge is the best way to learn as I can see what others do and learn from them. for those that do not have a marco lens a regular lens will do for close ups. Lets see what every one can come up with.
