It IS neat. But it is underexposed because the snow fooled your meter. When shooting in snow or on a beach, you will almost always have to bump the exposure 1 to 2 stops to make the snow white. The meter wants to make everything 18% gray and I would say it did just that. So the first two are very nice images, just need an exposure increase.

Great pictures but needs help on exposure and/or white balance. I'm not sure I like the snow field in the foreground in 1 and 3. If mine, I think I would crop out the snow field completely and see if I liked it any better. Thank you for sharing.

Nice photos. I would however like to add one comment. The first image appears to have some dust spots on it. Its a problem that all of deal with when we forget to dust off the lens. Since it is there you can easily take care of it in the processing. Once cleaned up it will be nice.

Really like your Katahdin picture. Haven't been up that way for a while. Were you in the park or was that taken off I95?

Concur w/ the Captain. In addition, your top shot clips a branch on the right side. That can be jarring to some people (like me). Also, you have a fair amount of dust bunnies, which are especially noticeable in your top shot. But, over all, nice images. Sweet pooch.

You might want to experiment with post proceesing and if you search online you can obtain some free software. Try the search term "free photo editing software".
