Different Perspective On A Sunset

Here are two pics I took back in November of the sunset. Just looking for comments/critique. Which do you like best - landscape or portrait?

Both are really nice, but I think I like the portrait photo better as it shows a touch more cloud and sun.

I prefer the portrait for the muted colors and more depth to the sky.

Actually prefer the landscape for ease of seeing it without scrolling. Just personal. Both pictures are great.

Thanks for replies.
Personally, I like them both. I like the landscape for my desktop wallpaper, and I really like the purples and oranges in the portrait shot.
I haven't seen too many decent sunsets here in Arkansas when I had a camera ready for them. The neighbor (Ozzy) called me out when this was happening, so I grabbed the camera quick and went out and shot these hand held on a windy day.

I like the portrait much more than the landscape. Everyone does scenery/sunsets in landscape. I think in this case the portrait is much more intense and like how the dark clouds at the top kind of help frame it. The landscape looks "washed out" to me.
