Thank you, apparently it is good for about 50 mph so it will be too fast for his next long run, Adelaide to Darwin, which is across Australia's middle south to north. He'll be using his 1908 Brush which has already been across Australia west to east!
What a beauty I like to see old cars restored. Looks like musuem quality to me. The handle outside the door is that a break? :thumbup: :thumbup:

Yes I believe so, there is also a reverse brake which when you release a cable inside the car drops an arm, hinged at the front, which sticks in the ground if the car rolls backward. "Hill assist " it was called on some Australian Subaru,s.

Nice pic and nice car Testie...I'm wondering though, why is it too fast for the north south run, if I was doing that I'd want to cover the ground pretty quickly and he doesn't have to go flat out...?

I think the main reason is that it is 4 cylinder and the run is only for single cylinder motors. I'll check my facts but I think that is right.

The 1& 2 Cylinder Rally for Veteran cars & motorcycles prior to 1919 & is based in Robe & begins on Sunday 4th May & finishes with a Dinner on Friday 9 May.
The Rally is organised by the Sporting Car Club & The Veteran Car Club of S.A.
