I have been reading and learning from all the postings. What a great thing to have access to. I want to thank you all for all the great information.

I have been using a D40 ( I'm a Nikon guy) and recently have been entertaining thoughts of upgrading. I am thinking (due to budget constraints) of the D5100 (which /i have seen mixed reviews) and the D90. I am looking for any and all inouts and thoughts on recommendations of whic hto choose.

I like HDR and the D40 is manual only no AEB. I have recently started to shoot using manula settings (thanks in part to this newsletter) and I am loving the control.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated and Happy New Year to all!!!

Well I can't help you out on a camera choice really because I shoot with a bridge camera, but Welcome to the forum and I am sure someone will have the answers you are looking for.

You are welcome. I think pretty much everyone on here lurked in the shadows for awhile before we let everyone know we were here. If you need more help on anything there is always someone around, so don't hesitate to ask.
