If you have a Nikon WU-1a Wireless Adaptor for a D3200
Will it adapt to a D5100 also?

The WU-1A works with the D7100, and as already said, it's not fast. If you use it with the default Nikon software, it's got some issues.

The mode and settings you have set up on the camera before the connection are what you are stuck with throughout the entire connection on Android. If you use some of the second party software on Android you can change the modes, and make exposure settings changes.

I've used it for Focus Stacking using Helicon Remote for Android, nd it seems to work fairly well, once you get the connection. That's the hardest part. Getting the camera and the tablet to make a good connection.
