Rodeos are a great place for action!
This rodeo was at Chama, New Mexico. "Chama Days"
This cowboy started out good.
Then he started to get twisted and went down hill after that.....

Each shot is seperate.
One at a time, but one right after another.
These were taken with Canon 30D and 70-200, 2.8 lens
y the big sissy should have stayed on
Great series of photographs. One of the reasons I like this site so much is I get to see thing like this, things I probably would never get to see. Good job Jay.
Wow - really great shots. Thanks for posting them. I lived in Truth Or Consequences back in 1970 for about 6 months after coming out of the marines. Beautiful country out there. Often thought of going back but to this day haven't got past the thought. Went thru NM on I40 about 7 years ago but didn't have the time to stop. Darn it.
Awesome! I want to go take pics at a rodeo now!

OUCH! Bad wreck. Once off center...well, ya know.
Nice, crisp images. Excellent series.
Especially like the third image...lookin' at the guys smiling in the background. <Tee Hee>
Good shots...now I know why I take pictures and not ride in a rodeo...
Fantastic shots. You couldn't have posed them better for that last shot.

I don't know, but if I was a judge I'd give them both a TEN. They were synchronized, difficult execution, tight. Definitely well done.
