They're $125.00 brand new from B&H. That's with warranty. Don't know what a used one would go for.
Lens for $125 does not autofocus on Nikon D 3100. Thanks for your response.
You're right. I missed that. I guess the price just went up to $215.00 Amazon.
Before the 'Nifty-Fifty' term was used the same lens could be had 'for a song'.

Interesting that you are looking for that lens. I have a discussion going here at UHH about which of my lenses to sell or keep & I am strongly considering selling THAT exact lens.
Here's the link:
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-178854-1.htmlI am trying to determine a fair price unless you have a reasonable offer.
On my iPad now so I'll get you the exact model when I get on my computer. I've probably used it no more than 3-4 hours.
OK, this is the model:
Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G AF-S
It has Nikon Front & Rear Caps, a lens keeper leash, a Phoenix CPL, and a soft pouch.
I am very interested....just want to be sure it works with my D3100 (pretty sure that it does). Based on some pricing I saw on ebay (I trust UHH much more) I think that $115 + postage seems like a fair offer.....what are your thoughts?
