Out at sundown today and thought i'd take some industrial images.
Refinery 1
Refinery 2
Refinery 3
Very nice work! Love the first two! Powerful.
Good photos certainly best taken when it's dark, or dusk. How about posting a photo of the Kelpies, the next time you're in the area, I'm hoping to get there myself some time soon.
Nice images. Funny how we love beautiful landscapes of pristine environments; but these appeal to me just as much.
Thanks for looking and commenting. Keeps me wanting to take more

bv52gyf.....Super shots with great detail. I live in the Midlands and have just returned from visiting my husband's sister who lives in Grangemouth. I once tried a night shot of the refinery some years ago but with no tripod I had to whack up the ISO so all the shots were excessively noisy. We were advised that there was a golf clubhouse high on a hill nearby which gave a great view of the whole refinery. If you can find the whereabouts of it you would get some great views. You might be able to find it by looking at Google maps but if you can't find it I could inquire for you
