I like Spam. I have their entire collection in my pantry.

I was surprised to see that Spam is so popular in Hawaii. I would rather eat it than read it.
In the Army, we had it fried instead of bacon.

Funny I should find this.
This morning was Spam Lite and eggs over easy.

Here is the spam I've received lately. Couldn't get through email as an attachment though.
McDonald's in Hawaii serves Spam, eggs, and rice for breakfast.

American Cheese
Poached egg
Knorr Hollondaise sauce
So good.....

I still like the old original, it has that special taste, just like Vienna Sausages!
Sounds a little too good to be true, but not quite an urban legend. See

This post has nothing to do with the link in the original post, but it's a whole lot more interesting. Besides, our refrigerator will never be sending or receiving any email messages.

We had Spam regularly when I was growing up in the South, and I enjoyed eating it. But as an adult I've very seldom had any; thanks to my Yankee wife.
A few weeks ago I started thinking about Spam, so I bought a can of the original flavor. I made a Spam sandwich with white bread and mayonaisse. The next day I fried some Spam for breakfast. Then that afternoon I cut the rest of the Spam in small chunks and put it in some white gravy, then put that on toasted bread.
Everything was tasty, but not as great as I remember when my mother made it. My taste buds are satisfied, probably for the next five years or so. But, at least I have my memories of my childhood.

Amazing how something I was kidding about only 5 years ago is now reality. Progress!
