Eye contact day! For some reason, when I was out with my camera this morning, all creatures seemed to want to make eye contact with me. The first one is a juvenile brown pelican, followed by an adult brown pelican. Then a delightful 5 week old baby pelican, and finally some blond haired creature which I am still searching my books to identify.

As an aside, I will be posting pictures of two 5 week old pelicans and one sitting on her nest later on. Great morning!

Are you wearing sardines on your hat? They are all looking at you. They look mostly friendly. Those are some wonderful photos, pedalmasher!

Thanks Jim, Stephie, HT, tramsey and RE! It's always delightful to spend adorning among the creatures - it just cleanses my soul, but alas, I must get back to sorting through the morning's shoot. Coming soon, baby pelicans at play with on biting the other around the neck! :)
