Tack sharp, wonderful color, fantastic textures, excellently composed, and you didn't try to make the water look like cotton candy! What more could you want. Thanks for sharing this fantastic shot. I bet it would be unbelievable printed on Aluminium.

I've never really liked water shots with long exposures. I know it is the "in" thing, but I'm sure tired of them. Thanks for stopping the water.

Good shot.  I prefer to see water like you have photographed it rather than those milky artistic flows. :-D

So you don't like shaving cream pictures - this kind of photo just needs enough to denote the motion - in my estimation. This one was a relatively fast shutter speed due to the extreme turbulence in the water and I wanted to stop the run off on the rocks.

Absolutely agree!! This shot is exactly right.

I look forward to the day that the trend of making water look like cotton candy or shaving cream passes on. I've seen very few, if any, that i would want to hang on a wall in my home.

What a great photograph, a beautiful shot of real whitewater. Thanks for shooting it the way it is! Sparkling, sharp and clear. Love it!
