Body to lens adaptor help needed

I have a Sony A100 and would like to use MC/MD mount Minolta lenses on my Sony. There are two adaptors, one with, and one without a lens available. I would appreciate it if someone could let me know what each of those adapters is used for. I understand that using these adapters will only allow the manual use of the camera.

The ones with out glass will not focus to infinity. Just what is close. That is because the lens is not close enought to the sensor. The ones with glass correct this. Unless you pay big money the ones with a lens will not give you very good IQ. - Dave
