uploaded my last shot on this website and it said my camera does not give shutter count. My last photo on properties was IMG_5297.JPG which might make sense after having my camera for a few years

I distinctly posted that you should see if your camera is listed on the page. I'm not sure how much clearer I could have said that. Your Canon 60D is NOT listed.

Canon intentionally makes this info hard to impossible to obtain from their bodies, most of the non-pro bodies do not yield that info at all, while many of the pro bodies bury it so deep that you need pay-to-play software (EOScount.com has a download that sometimes will work) to get the count, if its there at all. I never understood Canons thinking on that one.

Yes, you can get it by downloading the software from eoscount.com, connecting your camera to your computer, and paying a small fee (less than $2) to get the count. It worked for my 60D.

I just used this program to get the shutter counts from all of my EOS bodies.

I agree with MT. The shutter count on my three Nikons is easily accessible. However, none of my sources will reveal it for my Canon SX50. Canon info must be available though, because I remember Linda writing that her SX50 had notched up 20,000, a few months ago. :-)
