I have always loved photography and took a photography correspondence course long before the advent of digital camera's. I, of course, use a digital camera and phone camera almost on a daily basis but have not been very successful in being creative. I love looking at the pics to see how others take pictures and maybe get some ideas of my own. I don't do much at all with manual settings and just use "P". I know some of my pics are good cause my 11 yr old granddaughter who takes 100's of pics will once in a while ask me to send her one that I have taken. Have been lurking here for a bit and may take a shot at posting a pic to this intro just so I know how to do it. Look forward to continuing to admire many of your photo's.

Welcome to the forum :) Love that path, I'd walk it with my dogs daily.

Welcome to UHH. I like the photo of the bay. Maybe that's because I've always been drawn to water -- the oceans, lakes, rivers. Hope to see more of your posts.

Thank you for the comments! My father and I hiked it and would definitely not do it everyday since he is 91 and has Alzheimers and both of my ankles are shot. It was a nice bit of exercise but your dogs probably would handle it a lot better - hope your holidays are good ones.

Your pictures are very nice. I do see that you could level the horizon in 1st pic. again very nice.

Thanks for the welcome and the comment on leveling the horizon - I did not even notice such a simple thing - I know some photo editing programs will do that. Thanks again!
