Started a new project that I would take some new shots.....Let me know if you like it..

Interesting! Not sure why I like it...but I do. Have seen enough welding to say, "Oh! A welding photo...so??", but I'm thinking it's the combination of lighting & smoke which causes the "captivating effect". Maybe it's the view of the unviewable(with the naked eye). All to say...a "riveting" shot. Well done sir...well done. Care to divulge how done? What'd you shoot thru?

Well I think this shot is absolutely fabulous, amazing and very interesting. Apparently you used some sort of very dark filter. It's well thought out, I'd give it a 10.

Thank you James.. No filter.. ISO 400, F1.8, 1/1250, M, 50mm..

Very, very cool looking shot. It looks almost Steampunk. Another in the "like" camp.

Thank you very much busted.. Nothing interesting with the shot.. Hand held Sony A55, ISO 400, 1/1250, F1.8, M, no flash, 50mm, edited shot on my IPad with a little program called Snapseed..

Thanks for the data, for some reason I was thinking the arc brightness would have blown out portions badly. This shows I am wrong. I also own that camera...it's a nice little workhorse.
