Yay I finally found you lol. Wonderful photos so far. I look forward to seeing the rest.
My still life is a bit different.
Love the whimsy especially the ants and gecko. Glad to see you back.
pg 2. Lots of travels RR...I favor the first as it gives me a good view of all of your travel locations. Of course the lenses and keys along with the pins make for a terrific shot.
pg 3. Pat....this is a great still life and agree that the lighting, colors, textures and shadows all apply. And bagels for breakfast...yum!
mg....Thanks for the nice comment...and the timing worked well because of the cold weather we have had.....and have had fun working with lighting...but a long way to go yet. I'm looking forward to seeing your photos.

Photogrl....Love your Still Life....the ants look interesting and love the color and texture of the gecko...great composition.
lnightng.....Makes me want to try shooting some ball bearings because of the reflections....and great marble shots....brings back childhood memories of playing marbles with those cats eye marbles!
pg 5. photogrl....cute puppies!
lnightng.....Love the fish mobile and a great job of shooting with its shadow! Nice job on the post Christmas shots

I started my day with the map and lens and keys so as to portray, in stll life, what I would like to do. Then upon seeing other postings I began thinking that still life meant ''life'' as in flowers for example, which are motionless. Then I read back to the tutorial and learned some more.
I then went out and bought a square yard of flat black material to use as background ( and which will be useful inthe future).
It is a bit of a Challenge for sure, but I like it a lot! Thanx

Another challenge for you.....Still Life. I have seen some terrific Still Life photography posted and decided I wanted to learn more; and sharing tips would be very helpful so we can all learn from each other.....that may include set up and lighting, etc. I started out with some flowers and then added other items in my shots; I used natural lighting, candle light, and an LED flashlight for my lighting sources. This may be one time I can be happy for the extreme cold so did not make me feel quite so guilty staying indoors. And it also gave me the opportunity to work more with my post processing software. (But still need to work on more bubble shots Clicker!)
Another challenge for you.....Still Life. I have ... (
