This was taken last September. Posted another from the series a month or two back, but liked this one equally. I'm uncertain whether the cross-current waves detract from the scene or add interest, so I'll wait to hear from you all before I keep it or trash it.

That is a beautiful shot showing good composition and a variety of colors making it easy on the eyes. A winner.

This is a terrible shot, Randy. Send it to me and I'll throw it away for you....just before I publish it and make a lot of money.

On a more serious note, it's a beautiful picture of a peaceful setting. Looks like one of those high quality shots you see on motivational posters. Very nice job.

John

The wave action is what sets this apart from all the other beautiful seascape photos. A keeper!

I really like this picture and the cross currants add to it's beauty rather than detract. Great shot

I think the cross waves add more interest. It would have been nice to see somesunlight reflected on them, as they look a little flat, but it didn't happen that way, and it is fine as it is.

I have no problem with the waves. They certainly don't diminish my enjoyment of this images.
It is so well done Randy. There is so good a balance.
An image like this should not, in my opinion, ever be analyzed. It should be viewed and enjoyed as a whole.

Thanks, John. Appreciate your opinion very much. I could go either way on this one. I like the color, but that crossing waveform really disrupts the flow. Enough to throw away an otherwise decent shot? Not sure. We'll see how the voting goes.

Thank you for offering your opinion, Bob, I really appreciate that. This one has a big uncertainty factor for me. Trash or treasure? I like it, but...

Lol, I really want to see that one posted, Ron! Best of luck getting that shot...

Have to post these warm shots to try to stop my shivering. There's no room in front of the wood stove--all the cats have congregated there and are upside down, quite comfortable, while I sit here freezing, trying to stop my blue, numb fingers from clicking uncontrollably on the mouse.

Th-th-thanks f-f-for l-l-looking!

Thank you, HT. Appreciate you weighing in on the waves, glad you don't think they detract. I could probably add some highlights to them in post, but that's cheating, lol, and I would never do such a thing. Well, hardly ever. Okay, I do it a lot. But in this case, I won't. Probably.
