Photography selling as art

Not sure if that is the best title. Looking at other ways to sell photography. I thought about framing some and putting it in an art store locally to sell. Do any of you do that? If so what sizes etc do you use.

It all depends on your image. Don't get locked into say 11x14, 16x20 and etc. Canvas works very too! Talk to the store where you want to work with and also see what they are SELLING. Remember that other peoples houses may be larger than yours and if it's ART bigger can be better, a 20x24 can look like a postage stamp on a very large wall. Good Luck RRS

I sell at local craft fairs. the largest number of prints I sell are unframed 5X7 then 8X12, then 16 X20 followed by 11X14.
You might consider qa SMUGMUG account, or a site like it.
