What are some of your most favorite quotes from the "Masters"? i.e. Adams. I'm doing a research paper and could use some expert help...my topic is trying to "drill down" into today being that everyone is a photographer just because they have a cell phone. Where has the art gone?

When a woman commented that 'You are drunk!' Churchill was reported to have replied 'And you are ugly: but in the morning I shall be sober...'
Always wanted to come out with that one, but never remember it when I'm drinking.....hic

You don't JUST need the quote -plenty of quote books available- for a research paper your quote has to come with context and its reference. (that's the hard bit.) Good Luck
PS
Most Universities require more 'paper' references than online hotlinks as this would suggest that you have actually read varied sources and not merely google'd it.check with your tutor before submission.

If you need to cite essays and real quotes about photography, check out
http://www.egglestontrust.com/articles.html You should be able to print the source material or at least relate it back to its printed material (books).

I love that quote and have applied it to my photography. Unfortunately it's lead to me using up far more film than what I was doing previously.

I've been wondering the same thing. Anyway, I have two quotes that I particularly appreciate. They say who I am. They are:
"The camera looks both ways." - Rick Sammon
“Photography is an itch that wont go away. No matter how much you scratch it.”- Dara McGrath
