Yongnuo flashes, and wireless flash triggers

I'm getting more and more confused about this setup. I have 2 Yn-565 EX flashes. Yongnuo says these units are "wireless" it seems to Yongnuo, wireless means infrared, not radio. I did buy one Yn 622C transceiver, thinking wireless meant "radio". I may have to buy two more transceivers to use both Yn 565EX flashes off camera, and one Yn 622C to use on the camera to control both flashes. Using the manual on the YN 565EX, and the manual for the Yn 622C trigger I'm getting a decent education in Chinese.
If anyone has any further suggestions please chime in.

Yes the Yongnuo is infrared using the ETTL. If you want to use them off camera without the ETTL you will need a transmitter for the hot shoe on the camera, and receivers on the flashes. I bought some from Cowboy Studios for my Yongnuo and they work perfectly. The kit came with one transmitter and two receivers for $30.

Actually I would like to use both of the flashes off camera, with TTL. That is why I bought the YN 622 triggers, they are supposed to be able to transmit TTL to and from the flash. Of course the manual has nothing about this printed in either manual. What I can do is setup the system and give it a try.

Most of the Yonguo stuff is good for the price, I just wish they'd put the insructions in proper English. And maybe print it a bit bigger.

Actually I've found the Yonguno equipment to be, sometimes more durable than than the Canon equipment. The cost is mostly 1/2 that of Canon or more. I'm thinking part of the cost saving is in the instruction books. The best way to learn about Yonguno equipment is to just hook everything up, put power to it and then just go step by step through all the buttons one at a time, and take notes.

You may be right about the instruction book. But they could reduce prices even further by putting it on the internet as a downloadable PDF file, which can be viewed at any size, and include a link with the product. I've never seen any of their products in the shops so assume that anyone who buys them has access.

You may want to go to the site "www.flashhavoc.com" I looked up the Yn 622C in the review page, at the very bottom is a link for the Yn 622C manual. You may also want to look at the official Yongnuo site "www.hkyongnuo.com" and look for the product you want and see if the manual in English is there. Or, Google it. You can buy the Yonguno products directly from their distributor at "Eachshot.com" Good Luck.

So the YN 565 EX is not a slave that will work via radio trigger?

Question, On the Yongnuo 565Ex II is the first curtain symbol off and the second curtain the aero with two blocks forward.
I also have trouble with the language applications. The manual is poor with presentation details.
