Now I have to hunt up one of my Portland Head Lighthouse shots and try this! I like it that much that I would want to try it on one of my shots!

Great shot. I'd love to get up to the Maine/NH area. Michigan has a lot of light houses. We toured a lot of the Eastern and upper coast lighthouses, but it was before digital cameras. Haven't made it back around to try photographing them yet, although I've been wanting to.

Superb composition, exposure and depth of field. The white water and brooding sky are great for lots of drama. Yes, a flashing light would have helped. Geo.K.
