Nice, Mike. For fun you might want to try a little slower shutter speed to show the ball and bat with some motion. ;)

You got those correct. The ball in the shot, getting the exact moment of the tag. Beautiful. Not easy to do.

Yep, shots like this require a fast shutter speed, nothing beats a cloud of dust to impart action. Sometimes I will setup along the first base line and work this shot for several innings. ;)

Thank You, it was a 9 point auto focus, iso 1000, 1/2500 and f/9. all set up by the D7100.
