I would bring my general purpose glass 18-200
medium tele 70-200

ultra wide 10-22

long tele 100-400 and a 1.4 TC

Monopod or tripod ( light and sturdy )

Extra batteries foir neach rig

Extra memory for each rig

COMFORTABLE hiking/mountain boots, no sneakers out of town

Bug killer with deet, i was a BAT mentioned, waste of time, a 410 shot gun works better

I dress in light layers for nothern climate, you never know what the weather will be.
Gets colder quick going up in the passes and mountains
hats are good.

Plan your trip but leave some flexibility for spur of the moment side trips ( Eklutna burial grounds, glaciers etc)

Seward highway, south of Anchorage is a great place to watch whales, Whittier is a great side trip..
