Mount Denali at Sundown

I posted a photo earlier under "My favorite picture of the year" and based on the positive feedback, I am posting a few more.
The Alaska Airline pilot saw how spectacular the light was on the clear mountain top, and dropped down to peak level and flew about 270 degrees around the top at fairly close range. Rules are often overlooked in Alaska. The show was spectacular and I got a number of great pictures with a Sony DSC through the thick airplane window. I was very surprised with the quality given those conditions.

Very nice pictures ! I was there this past summer and took the shuttle bus out and got to see Denali on a totally cloudless beautiful day. I felt that was the best day on our 10 week trip.
