When has anyone here ever heard of a teacher being fired for being a lousy quality teacher, or even a totally worthless teacher?[/quote]

Still waiting for you to identify your source for your initial post....

I believe the article appeared here, and in many other places. As you could easily have found in seconds:

Do you consider Ms. Coulter to be a reputable source?

If you have differing information or opinions as to the facts and opinion in the piece, state them. This is not a deposition and I am not a deponent.

Yeah, public education is SUCH a contemptable idea. Just because it is perhaps the core upon which our democracy rests is no reason to appreciate it....

Good point..... I fear my previous query was inflammatory. My apologies. After doing some research I found that Ms. Coulter has been making similar comments about Kwanzaa, usually around the Christmas holidays, since at least 2004 when President Bush said the following "Kwanzaa strengthens the ties that bind communities across America and around the world and reflects the great promise and diversity of America". I went to several fact checking sites and looked into Ms. Coulter. The following link is from one that has won numerous awards including the Pulitzer Prize. I offer this as a final rebuttal as I will be 10-10 on the side as far as this thread is concerned in the future. The floor is yours. My best regards.....

This holiday season we had certain Icons: Baby Jesus, Santa and the Menorah.

So what would the Kwanzaa icon be, handcuffs?

Handcuffs for the men, burkas for the women.
