Not really sure that will do anything. I tried to sell a Canon 24-70 L 2.8 like new lens on this forum, including a detailed description with 4 photographs. After 2 days I discontinued the listing due to several silly asinine comments from Hoggers such as; "If it's such a good lens, why are you selling it", or "if it's as tack sharp as you say, why don't you keep it", or the bell ringer was, "I looked for photos you took with the lens and couldn't find any in chit chat". Unfortunately for this poor lost soul I haven't a clue where he thought I had posted photo's taken with the lens, especially in "chit chat". I did indeed sell the lens 4 days later on Craigs List for $50.00 (figuring I would have to come down on CL) more. Due to the sour taste in my mouth created by some smart mouthed UHH's I will sell my stuff on CL or Ebay.

What? I can't believe you only accepted $50 for such a great lens! I can't find any for under $300. As far as attitudes on here, there are a few that just have nothing better to do than scrutinize others.

I 've only had my 60d canon dslr for one year any time you would like to sell lenses that can be used on my camera drop me a line gabrielcody@gmail.com I can't say it will be a sure sale but any lens under 100.00 dollars that i do not have would be a shoe in.Any l lens under 200.00 would feel like christmas. mark cody thanks for your consideration amature photographer on a tight budget.

OMG. I'm appalled at the way this thread has unraveled. The OP simply wants to sell a lens. What difference does it make if he joined today or 4 years ago? If you're concerned about buying from someone you don't know, simply stay away from dealing with them.

Sorry guys for my ignorance. Definitely a newbie. It comes with end caps, manual and round zipper-top bag. Asking $250 for it. I had expected responses via email and was not being attentive to this thread. Christmas week was busy. Lots of pics of the lens can be found on Ebay. I sold the Canon cam I had to a friend for dirt cheap price and was not going to include a $700 lens in the deal.
