Hi everyone,

My name is Linda. I am a senior citizen and have just decided that I think I would like to get into photography. Nothing big, just back yard photos. I don't have a very good camera, only a Canon SureShot 35 m; I know everyone probably has digital these days, but I have one, but it's not very good(or I just don't know how to use it). I will ask you about this later, as I don't quite understand digital cameras. You will be hearing from me again.

Nikron7, Thank you for the picture; it made me smile. I have quite a few squirrels in my yard, and we feed them peanuts during the winter months. It's fun watching them. They even come up to the door sometimes.

Can anyone give me an idea for a camera, not expensive and easy to use. Any good cameras out there $100 and under? I can't afford anything more expensive than this.

This might help you decide what's available in that price range.

Welcome Linda,

It's not about how expensive a camera you have but how you use it!!
I'm using a second hand camera, brand new is a little out of my reach!!

Good luck to you and always keep learning, it's what keeps a person young!!
