Unusual tree

Several years ago this tree was uprooted by a windy storm, but it's natural features can still be seen.

Nice picture, the black down the middle indicates it may have been struck by lightning at some point.

Is it just my overactive imagination,or is there an image of a huge snake rising up along side the trunk,complete with a forked tongue at the top.
