I think this is probably one of the best submissions you have made in some time. I have enjoyed all of your submissions but there is always something about the eagle in its natural surrounding that is very appealing to me. And this eagle cooperated by posing for a quick picture. I had to smile a little when you indicated the distance involved. In my part of the country 200-300 ft is about as close as we will ever get. Keep submitting photos in the natural environment. You live in such a beautiful area of the country.

Thank you very much. With our thick pine trees in the area (north Idaho is 85% forest) sometimes we can sneak up on the Eagles (about 100 feet away) while they are munching on a freshly caught Salmon.
