With just this photo, it may be difficult. It would help a lot to also see the gill arrangement, as well as the stem area just below the cap. I've run into this similar situation before, only to be told by a ranger biologist that the simple side view image only narrows things down a small bit. Mushrooms and fungi are one of the largest groups in the biological world.
