Is "National Camera Exchange (est. 1914)" reliable?

Anybody here know anything about the "National Camera Exchange?" Their prices seem to be very competitive, but not low enough to raise real suspicion. I'd appreciate any information UHH'ers might be willing to provide. Thanks in advance. Mercer :|

They are local store to me and I have purchased a couple of cameras, filters, and other accesories. They are good to work with and know their stuff. I returned a filter that was cross threaded and exchanged it without question. But they are local to me and have never used their website to order equipment.

I would say they are very reliable also. I have used them...ordered metal prints online and shopped in their stores. I found the employees to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I have purchased a lens and tripod/monopod equipment there.
I would not hesitate to shop there as they are a legitimate company.

Highly recommend National Camera Exchange. I have purchased everything from cameras, lens, printers and scanners from them. If I have had any questions or problems, they have always been happy to help.

I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment with no regrets from National Camera. They have great in store and phone help assistance. A dollar is a dollar but when you have questions and need to speak to someone who has answers, your time is priceless. Great classes which some come free with purchase.

I have bought most of my equipment from them, new, refur, and used. They have stood by all of their sales and some they probably didn't have to. They even answer questions regarding equipment not purchased from them. I can't think of a place I would trust more than them. They stand behind what they sell and have honest prices for a brick and mortar store. I only wish they would open a store on the east side of the Metro area.

I've found them to be highly reliable on several transactions. I was especially pleased with selling them used equipment. They offered very fair prices upon inspection. No games, just great service. I worked with Eric on several sales, highly recommend him.

Use them on a regular basis as they are the hometown shop. Competitve prices and excellent service. Just remember if you're buying from a shop in Mn there will be tax versus B&H or Adorama don't have tax which can get spendy on $1000 and above purchases.........

There is a shop in Roseville just off Snelling ave. Don't know much about the eastside as I live 40 miles to the west of Mpls but hope this might help........

I know all the stores quite well. That store is just barely out of the Minneapolis area. They really could use a store in the area of 94 and 494. I'll be at their store in Burnsville on Friday, maybe I might suggest the location to them or maybe they can just read it on this post. However, their great people.

Maple Grove store is just off 94 west and 494. I use this shop along with the one at Southdale. Knowing what part of the city you live in would help alot. You looking for something in the area of the airport or exactly what do you call the eastside??

Wrong side of 494. They need one at 94 and 494 near the Woodbury shopping center. Its a growing area and strong economic zone.
