Another camera to consider is Garmin VIRB Elite.
I purchased one and am still evaluating it. Picture is quite good. Have not tried the many options. Has GPS, altimeter, accelerometer. Waterproof with additional dive case to 50 m.
Can view GPS track with Garmin Basecamp software. Remote control via Garmin GPS. See Internet for setup.
editing software requires Windows 7 or higher.
NOTE - quadcopters look great but it is illegal to use it for photography professionally.
