These photos were taken in June of this year.
I went out for a few hours with the objective of ''shooting'' birds in flight. I had the good fortune of capturing this surfing duck.

Singing Swan

What in the world was it really trying to accomplish?? Landing? Takeoff? Got carried away by the current? You certainly made some unique photos.

There were 3 ducks just above the fall. He was the last one to leave and these were taken on take off. I also took a couple of other series in flight and ''landing''

I take it the duck was waiting till the last minute to take off but waited too long before doing so.
Must have spooked the duck some.

Nice series of shots. I can almost see a little surfboard under the duck.
