I am looking to purchase a 24-105mm f/4l IS Canon Lens, B&H and Adorama list this lens around 1,200.00. There is a company by the name of, IBcart.com who list the price of this lens at $595.00. Has any member had any dealings with this company? Need help before I leap.

That's just what I was thinking. Seems too good to be true. I emailed asking for more information on the lens whether it was a new or used. haven't heard anything from them. I'll just pass on this one.

If any dealer is deviating by more than a dollar or two from the others, he's not legit. For used equipment, anything goes.

Any deal that looks to good to be true is very likely a scam. Run the other way.

I don't think so Jerry....think of it more like a "Vendor Review Page"....I bought such and such from so and so and got ripped off....took 6 months to get my money back...things like that mite help some people.

Maybe, but there have been some heated complaints here about the major sellers.

Yep, now I think you just hit the nail on the head. I will personally start keeping records of comments made on UHH so that when someone has a question concerning certain companies. I may be able to help them.

Never heard of them. If they are less than 1/2 price, ther is something wrong. You are not getting the same lens.
