Hi guys! New here. Working with a Nikon CoolPix P90 after going digital from my old Nikon F60. Took this photo in 2010 of a Harvest Moon. After about 30 photos, I got this one that I cropped and sharpened a little on PhotoShop. Sorry, but I don't remember the settings...but I DID use manual focus.

Ps...and I DID use a tripod with a 10 second delay to make sure I didn't have any 'wiggle' from holding the camera.

I'm new at this, and here.I've been trying to get the moon and this one worked with a canon 100-400 and a 2x adapter.

I mentioned to someone that I would really like one of these P&S cameras, I honestly don't have a lens that would get that much detail with my DSLR's... nice job...

Eugene, the camera has a built-in 20x zoom which I think is equivalent to a 600mm lens. I didn't even realize that I had gotten this much detail until I loaded it onto my computer and took a really good look at it. I was stoked!

Canon SX30 IS - optical zoom = 35X, this digitally zoomed out to @ 120X, and straight from the camera, not even cropped !

ISO 100 f8 1/60
