I'm a Senior on social security and passionate about photography.
I'm seeking a way of making extra money to supplement my meager fixed income. Is there really money in stock photography as claimed by this Lori Allen from "The Right Way to Travel" newsletter or is this a scam? Any help will be highly appreciated.
I have been regularly capturing images for the past several years, some of which are attached. Your critique will be most welcome as well. My name is Gledor 42
Welcome to the clan. I think the best money is taking embarrassing pictures of people and then charging them NOT to be published.
There is array of freelance opportunities to sub,it to, just make sure of all the details so you don't get ripped off. Not that there are unscrupulous people out there, but sometimes things get mixed up in transactions
Yes you can make money from your pictures. I'm in Rocklin, Ca and got my granddaughter in to photography and she has made enough money by selling her picture to help with her college costs. I look so me that on the Folsom main street you should be able to find a art store that you let you display your picture's and make sure you a nice frame.
Welcome! Before WA, we lived up I80 in Alta. As far as the newsletter, I used to get it also, and tried istock.com to sell my photos. Istock has a lengthy application and testing process, and require a broad representation of photos.
Good luck!
Thank you so much Sac-Jack.
Has she tried selling in any Stock
Photography agency? Has anyone out
there tried it?
I will check out your
advice.
Are you still selling thru them
and getting regular checks monthly?
I will check out their agency. Thank you
so much.
