Surfboard Fence

Here is a shot I like a lot. It is a fence made up of old surfboards in Paia town here on Maui. I worked it a little to bring up the colors. I shot this with my Nikon 7100, 18 to 105mm lens at 35mm. f/5.6, I/125, iso 200. what do you think, my thoughts are maybe I should have bracketed and made an hdr shot.

I have seen that fence in Paia. And a couple others around Maui. I am envious of your locale. Been to Maui many many times and always stay at Kihei Beach Resort as it is central to where we go. Makawao is my favorite town. Oh, very nice shot!

That is right across the street from where I live, pretty nice place to stay. Thanks for the comment

I don't think this needs HDR. You did fine without it.

I too have seen a similar fence while in Hawaii, I climbed up a small hill to get a photo of it! Lovely, thank you so much for sharing your shot!

Thank you, I really like that fence, it just invokes the image of surfers and days gone by.

There are a few around this is one of the largest as there are boards on the other side also. I just thought that the rusty fence gate was a good focal point.
