Greeting from Long Island, NY
Looking to learn - always been a point and shoot guy. Just picked up a Canon T3i and it's a bit overwhelming.
Thanks
Welcome Russ, and don't fret the learning process. There are several post already on the hog that cover some of the basics. As you post pictures, list the different settings used ie fstop, iso, conditions etc. If your shooting in full auto (which I did for the first seveal outing with that same camera) check the settings the camera chose, then you play either side of those in one of trhe manual settings to see the differences. The real key is knowing the subject you shooting and making sure ti is the focal point of the shot. Good luck and have fun with both thecamera and your time here at UHH
Hi Russ. I have a Canon T3i too. And I'm a point and shoot gal. So am hoping to learn from this site too. I use the Landscape for 90% of my shots. I like the colors it does. But...have lots to learn
