I'm curious as to what you folks think about the tree shadows falling across the side of the barn. All comments are welcome.

Personally, I like shadows on old barns. In fact I look for them when I photograph old barns and am always happy when they are there. If the shadows look too dark to you, you can always lighten them a little in PP.
Oops! I posted the wrong photo--I have another that has been straightened. Sorry about that.

It is still a very nice shot!! I also like the shadows as they are, shows the subtle bits of the setting off in the trees, etc.

I like the shot. Don't see very many straight barns anyway. :-)

Nice old barn.
Have you tried photographing it at different times of the day and year to see variations on those tree shadows?
How about converting this to a high contrast B&W shot?
I like the 3/4 front facing aspect you made for your composition. Great choice!
The barn is neat and shot from a good angle as mentioned. The shadows on the ground actually interest me more than the ones on the barn, so many cool parallel lines - and of course all are pointing our eye directly to the barn. Nice image!
The shadows on the ground, both left and right, lead your eyes to the barn. A nice image.
I like the shadows as they fall across the barn itself. If the shadows were missing, the barn would just be another barn.
Nice photo. Maybe a couple less tree shadows. Where in Indiana?
i really like it the leaf color and the shadows make you feel the cold of the winter day.
East-central in the state. Are you from Indiana, too?
I agree with jtr, the cast shadows enliven what would be a ho hum shot. Excellent rendering.
Best regards,
Janko
