Uh oh!! You said fire! Not you, but a bad word to say at her house anymore. The original farmhouse(more than 150 years old) burnt down more than several years back. Maybe you've heard me talk of it. Total loss, including a few dogs and a litter of pups. Lost all my photographs from the last 45+ years plus some equipment. All due to an ancient fuse box that arced one too many times that they didn't realize. Lot of good all my back-ups did. They were 4' away from the computer. New house now, that he built. All the while with a bad heart. He is now on a lvad heart pump, and plugs himself in at night. All electric now, with a gas "wood" stove. So fire is a bad word 'round that house.
Incredible first photo. almost makes me long for snow....almost.
Love the bleakness of the first one, apart from the swing in the left of the picture it could have been taken in the 1800s

What a nice set, it does look cold! I like the close up shot! :-)
Love everything about that first photo. Great in mono, detail in the snow, white barn in a white landscape is very appealing. Beautiful composition. Wow. Sorry to hear about the _ _ _ _.
Hey! I love that dappled horse in the last photo ......
Did not know about the fire. Hope life improves Cheers and best for the season.

Beautiful farm and photos. The third one looks like my second Ex-Wife
It looks like that third one is making eyes at you. If she starts batting those eye lashes, look out!
The white barn and fence in the first one with the gloomy sky makes for a real nice shot that has mood. Nice! :)
