Fortunately, my employer of 33 years was one of the few that supplied decent healthcare insurance, and I carried it with me into retirement. I can't imagine what my life would have been like if I didn't have medical insurance. Even paying the premiums and the co-pay, I am able to afford to get my problems solved.
