Playing with HDR

I volunteer at the mall in the Art Center and was taking pic's of the art work for our news letter and decided to step out into the mall and play with HDR.

I usually don't like HDR because it usually is so over done that it looks .... terrible, too gawdish, too cartoonish, just terrible.

HDR should be applied like a woman's makeup to the point that you don't realize it is there, like your shots, very well done. I like them all but #2 is outstanding.

Hmmmm, never thought there would be so much light contrast inside a mall, but apparently there is. You did a good job of pointing that out.

Well done. If you had not said they are HDR, I would not have known and that is a plus when doing HDR.

How good to see a photographer using HDR in a subtle and effective way and not blasting the picture out of sight, Really good set Jim
