I am new to this world of Macro photography. These are the first pictures I have taken. I can use any advice or tips to make this a better choice for me. These were taken with a Fuji Finepix S-2940. I hope everyone enjoys them...Thanks

I've never tried it before. There's a setting on the camera that says Macro, so I assumed that's what I was doing...Opps lol. I don't have any books explaining what Macro really is. Any links I should check out that will explain it to me? Thanks for any advice

So it's a close-up showing detail within detail then. So i'm sort of on the right track then. Just need some more practice then.Thank you for the example :-)

incredible photograph , what lens are you using? I have a 105mm Macro and can never get all in focus, even if I use smaller aperture for greater death of field.Bunnye

Hi, I'm using just a Fuji Finepix S 2940 camera. Just the only lens on it. It's a 5.0-90.0mm 1:3.1-5.6. No other lens go with this camera. I guess you call it a point and shoot model. All I can afford at this point.

It's a "Tweener" between P/S and DLSR. It should have Macro and Super Macro on it. (then get down and dirty) well maybe not dirty on the camera.....
