Some areas in Illinois were hard hit and some in Ohio had a lot of damage. I guess there were two deaths in Illinois last I heard. Damage reports were just coming in.

Over 70 tornadoes today. Almost like Spring weather, not Fall.

It's all because of the UN Climate Change meetings held in Poland this past week. Hey guys, keep your hands off our weather. :D

I was in a park with my Parrot when they blew into the St Louis, Missouri region. I saw them coming and put the bird in the car and we drove off. I stopped at the intersection with the main road to watch a wind gust in the trees for a moment. Then pulled out to leave....a LARGE tree had blow down into the road way exactly where I would have been had I not hesitated. Then another tree blew down where I had previously hesitated. Made it home okay, but doubt my convertible would have fared well against those two trees had my Irish luck not held out.

I would certainly say some one "up there" was looking out for you. Glad you made it home safely.

Safe here. Just lost a couple of tree limbs and accumulated a few million leaves from down the street. Was at work when it hit and we lost power there

I had a big tree limb down in my front lawn but about a mile from my home buildings were totally destroyed.
