This is the San Antonio Weimaraner Club fall field trial. This is a field trial for the pointing breeds. My first time to use a Canon 800mm,which belongs to a friend. I only wish it was mine. These are as shot. So C & C if you will .

Did you shoot in raw or jpeg? Exposures seems a little off. Some PP in a photo program would provide much more interest. We have English Pointers that I love to photograph in the field . It is a delightful sight.

I shoot in both, first time to use the glass. It was call backs, so I needed to be in a save place (live fire ) . I was pretty close so that may have something to do with it. No time to set up, I was the bird planter also.

The Shorthairs are my favorites. Very nice images of some very nice dogs. I sure enjoyed looking at them.
