The D5200 was one point higher. I wonder why.
I loved my D5100 because of the user friendly information screen for settings and the articulated LCD which came in useful for more situations than I imagined. This is a wonderful step up while retaining those features.
Oh, and one thing that ticks me off about my current D800 compared to the D5xxx is that it doesn't have infared input. So whenever I want to use remote release I have to futz around with a cable or remote attachment. Must have saved them 50cents. That little remote was fabulously easy to carry and use. I kept it on my strap. Now I have to first find the thing and then screw it in, which is always problematic. But hey, for a couple of grand extra what should you expect?
I might get one of these as my "back up"...and I can see it turning into my preferred.
