Howdy from Calgary eh?

Just joined y'all and always eager to learn from the gurus! Been shooting for about two years and upgraded from a Nikon D60 to a D300s about twelve months ago. I shoot a wide variety of subject except portraiture, not my cup of tea. My mother in law is an avid "birder" and have been slowly getting in to that aspect of photography (now if only I had a lens with enough reach!). Aviation is a passion of mine so am always looking up, especially as I'm a registered member of Calgary's airport watch program.
In addition to the D300s, I have a Nikon 12/24 f4, Nikon 70-300 f4.5/5.6, Sigma 17-70 f2.8/4.5 macro, Nikon SB600 and a Manfotto 055XPROB.
